We asked you to step up and you did not disappoint! With your help we raised over $6,300 this Giving Tuesday for Care BC’s Meals on Wheels programs in Vancouver, Richmond and the North Shore (even more than we raised on Giving Tuesday 2021!). This amount will support the cost of 3,150 meals for vulnerable seniors this Holiday Season.

Giving Tuesday, a global giving campaign, is a day for everyone, everywhere, to give and give back to those who need it the most.

Care BC's Meals on Wheels programs have delivered to homebound seniors and the disabled for decades. The programs help them remain living independently at home, without feeling alone. For many of our clients, the holidays are difficult, as many don’t have, or are unable to see their family or friends. Our dedicated volunteers are often the only social connection they have all day or week.

Last year, our caring volunteers delivered over 146,000 meals across Vancouver, Richmond and the North Shore. Without help from our dedicated team of volunteers who give back every weekday, we would would not be able to reach as many clients as we do.

Last year, we raised almost $6,000 in just 24 hours. With your help, we hope to raise even more this year!

Please join us and give as generously as you can now.

A gift of $250 supports the costs of 100 Meals (which include hot entrées, frozen entrées and/or sandwich packs), and lets our clients know that someone is thinking about them during the holidays.
