Giving Tuesday, a global giving campaign, is a day for everyone, everywhere, to give and give back to those who need it the most.

Care BC's Meals on Wheels programs (in Vancouver, Richmond and the North Shore) have delivered to homebound seniors and the disabled for decades. The programs help them remain living independently at home, without feeling alone. For most of our clients, the holidays are the hardest, and especially this year, as many don’t have or are unable to see their family or friends. Our dedicated volunteers are often the only social connection they have all day or week.
Last year, Care BC volunteers delivered over 120,000 nutritious meals to over 1,000 residents in need. Each meal is subsidized by approximately $2.50 to ensure they are as affordable as possible as many of our clients are on a fixed, or low, income.
