Giving Tuesday, a global giving campaign, is a day for everyone, everywhere, to give and give back to those who need it the most.
In 2019, Care BC Meals On Wheels volunteers delivered over 127,000 nutritious meals to 1250 residents in need. Each meal is subsidized to ensure they are as affordable as possible as many of our clients are on a fixed, or low, income. For every $100 we raise, we are able to subsidize 50 meals.
Your donation today will you help us reach our Giving Tuesday one day goal of $5,000 to support isolated and vulnerable homebound seniors and the disabled at this time of year. Raising $5,000 will cover the subsidy for 2,500 meals.
